The Red Shoe Society of North Central Florida is a group of young professionals who serve and raise awareness for Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida within the Gainesville community.
Red Shoe Society members have the opportunity to volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House, coordinate and participate in fundraising events, and host socials to network and spread the word about our mission.
The Red Shoe Society hosts quarterly meetings as well as several great networking events. Members are welcome to join various committees headed by chairs on the Red Shoe Society Executive Committee. Becoming involved is a great way to meet other young professionals interested in community service and make a difference in the lives of the children and families served at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida.
The Red Shoe Society of North Central Florida’s Plane Pull gives teams of 10 people a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to pull an airplane while raising vital funds for RMHC North Central Florida. This action-packed event combines strength, teamwork, and competitive spirit to raise funds for seriously ill children and their families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. All are welcome to form a team – organizations and businesses, groups of friends and family members, religious organizations, and everyone in between.

RED SHOE SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP
Members are expected to pay $100 annual dues, which represent the cost to fully fund a family’s one night stay. Members must also attend one fundraiser and one service project at the House during the year. We host quarterly all-member meetings, and members also have the opportunity to join various committees or serve on the Red Shoe Society Executive Committee.
