We are thrilled that you wish to share your time, talents, and energy to assist families with hospitalized children. Below are some of the various volunteer opportunities we offer.
Our core program, House Helpers, is a great way to perform a variety of tasks in our house and make a direct impact. Daily tasks with this program include donation facilitation, maintaining a clean facility, preparing rooms, and family engagement. Other programs include professional services, family events, donation retrieval, and meal preparation are also available on an individual level.
All individual volunteers across all program interests are asked to fill out the application below. Once received, volunteers will be notified and asked to attend a brief orientation before their first day.
Please note, all individual applications and volunteer spots are first come, first served. We truly appreciate your patience, and thank you for your interest in service!
If you are interested in signing up your group to serve at our house, we ask you to fill out the interest form below. Someone on our team will be in touch shortly to help make your group service event a success!
Here is a sure-fire way to cheer up our families! Groups of five or fewer can bake sweets and comfort foods of their choosing, using our kitchen and bake-ware. All you need to bring are the ingredients! Please view our guidelines to learn more about the program, and scroll down and complete the form to request a date and time.
If you have questions about the program, please email lbull@rmhcncf.org
The Visiting Chef program is a wildly popular volunteer program for friends, family members, or co-workers who want to provide a meal for our families! Groups can be up to 10 people, and no professional cooking experience is required. Groups provide all the ingredients and are able to use our kitchen and cook-ware, or cater in from their favorite local restaurant. We encourage our chefs to be creative with their menu and prepare enough for 75 servings!
If you need assistance obtaining ingredients, please contact lbull@rmhcncf.org to learn more about our Visiting Chef Pantry.
The RMHC North Central Florida Advisory Council serves as a critical community champion of our organization. Members provide professional expertise, diverse knowledge and perspectives, connections and resources, and philanthropic support.
