Ways to Give
We are thrilled that you wish to share your time, talents, and energy to assist families with hospitalized children. Below are some of the various volunteer and donation opportunities we offer.
Lots of ways to help
Every small comfort makes our “home-away-from-home” nurturing for our families. You can help families staying at the Ronald McDonald House or using the Ronald McDonald Family Room by donating items from our wish list. We kindly accept new, unused, and unexpired items and products. Wish list donations can be brought to the Ronald McDonald House. For more information, contact the Manager on Duty or call 352-374-4404 x222.
When you pull the tab to open a soft drink, remember the impact those little tabs can have! Whether you organize a community-wide effort or designate a jar in your kitchen for tabs, pop tabs add up to real money for our House. Last year, we raised over $900 just from our Pop Tab Program! You can drop off your pop tabs at our House anytime to have them weighed and recycled.
No pushing required. It’s easy to help the families of hospitalized, seriously ill children. We’ll pick up your car, truck, RV or boat free of charge and steer you through the paperwork. Then, the proceeds are donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida, while a tax deduction rolls your way. 1-855-CARS-HELP or 1-855-227-7435

The Visiting Chef program is a wildly popular volunteer program for groups of four friends, family members, or co-workers. No professional cooking experience is required, and folks have lots of fun. Volunteers provide all the ingredients to make a home-cooked meal, or you may cater in from a restaurant for our families (approximately 50 servings). Volunteers will need to arrive in time to prepare their meals following our meal times.
Here is a sure-fire way to cheer up our families! Groups of five or fewer bake or make comfort foods using our kitchen and bake-ware. All you need to bring are the ingredients! Please view our guidelines to learn more about the program. If you are interested in making someone’s day a little sweeter, please scroll down and complete the form to request a date and time. If you have questions about the program, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.Download Info
